Intro-ness!

Hello, people of planet earth! As you can see this is my first blog and I'm very excited/nervous. First let me introduce myself.

My name is Darby and I'm a 22 year old female. I currently live in good ol' Iowa. (Yes, the corn is absolutely the best! :D) If I had to label myself, I would call myself a Christian Hippie.

Jesus is my number one man and my Savior. I love the Lord and am trying to deepen my relationship with Him and understanding of Him. He has saved me and pulled me out of some very, very dark places. I'm so blessed to be his daughter!

I love nature and the outdoors. Being stuck inside all the time is not my cup of tea. Mmm...tea....Right, anywho! Nature is one of the ways I connect to God. It is His creation and it's gorgeous. I want to see all of it!

Animals are amazing! I adore them! I really want to work with animals someday, be it at a zoo, wildlife reserve or farm, I really don't care so long as I get to interact with the animals. I, unfortunately, don't work with animals right now. I'm still working on getting a degree.

I love fitness and health...although being honest I struggle to stick to it and get off my lazy booty.

I have fairly severe OCD. It's a struggle, but God is strong! I've had OCD for most of my life.

This blog is going to be about several things I'm passionate about: God, Traveling/Nature, Animals, Veganism, OCD and bits and pieces of my life. I may put my testimony on here at some point as well, but I'm not totally sure just yet. I'm extremely random as well, so hold on tight and don't get whiplash! The main reason I'm doing this is to let people into my unique mind and hopefully connect with people in a way and they can relate to me. I need to get out of my comfort zone and just be me and I hope this inspires others to do the same.
